“MILAN GOLDEN QUAD” by SAKIS LALAS
Sakis Lalas is a professional photographer, member of the Foreign Press Association in Italy
(www.stampaestera.it).
Born in 1971 in the wonderful city of Thessaloniki (Greece), he is passionate
about photography and decided when he was very young to make it his job
and his life style (as he himself likes to say).
The never-ending research of wider horizons and the wish to see, to know
and to photograph new things, in addition to job engagements themselves,
has led Sakis Lalas throughout Europe and to America.
In 1998, his professional needs brought him to Milan, Italy, which he describes
as a cosmopolitan city with an intense cultural life which continues to preserve
its own identity. Sakis Lalas enjoys a spiritual affinity with Socrates and loves
portraits because, through a lens, he can draw out and crystallize the whole
world of ideas, thoughts and feelings hidden in his subjects’ eyes.
He collaborate with Conde Nast Publications, W magazine, WWD women’s wear daily (USA), Style magazine of Corriere della Sera (Italy),
Vogue Hellas etc.
